Usual O/L ICT paper model
Part I – 40 questions
Number system & gates                                - 9 questions
VB programming concept                               - 7 questions
Internet & security                                         - 6 questions
ICT fundamentals                                           - 5 questions
Spreadsheet                                                  - 4 questions
DBMS                                                           - 3 questions
Word processing                                            - 2 questions
Computer network                                          - 2 questions
ICT in our society & Web development Techniques    - 2 questions
Total                                                              40 questions

Part II – 6 questions – 5 should be done by candidates

(1)   Compulsory question – 20 marks – 10 questions
(Most of the candidates loose marks here. Because, answers are expected in one or two lines directly).

(2)   Question number II – 10 marks
This is like a scenario based question. It comes mostly in DBMS, Internet, Security and office package)

(3)   Question number III – 10 marks.
This is based on spreadsheet package.
Knowledge on basic mathematical operators and basic built-in functions are tested here.

(4)   Question number IV – 10 marks.
This is based on programming concept such as flow chart, pseudo code, and basic mathematical foundation. (Writing programming is not expected here).

(5)   Question number V – 10 marks
This question is based on common understanding on Internet, network, web development, DBMS, ergonomics, etc. This is also a scenario-based question.

(6)   Question number VI - Short notes – 10 marks
Three out of four questions should be selected by candidates.
Answers are expected to be written in 4 sentences practically. (Most of the candidates get marks here).
